Food Trip Friday: Mango Cake by Red Ribbon

Actually these pictures were taken last July during the celebration of my mom and my birthday. Me and my Older sister decided to treat my mother and the whole family out for dinner last July 16, 2011, my mom's birthday. and since i didn't celebrate my birthday a week ago (July 11), we also treat this as my birthday celebration as well.

Me, me, me!!!! Finally, i have a cake on my birthday!!! yipee!!

And as for dessert, we opt to buy a mango cake by Red Ribbon. It was my first time to taste it and i loved it.  I like this cake because it's not too sweet and the mangoes are not too sour. i also love the texture of the cake and it tastes refreshing for me..And it is just right for me because I am on a diet.. Hahaha!!!

My Mom

Food Trip Friday

Partners in Crime!!

My partners in dieting...

Here are the stuff that i eat while I am on diet. Actually I am still on diet right now..I still have a long way to go to achieve my ideal weight...

Nestle Fruit Yogurt

I see to it that I eat yogurt every night so that i will have a good bowel movement in the morning..

Anlene Milk (19-50 years)

I decided to drink anlene instead of any ordinary low fat milk because it contains nano calcium that makes the bone stronger inside. Since I jog in the morning, i realized I need something to take care of my bones.

Apple

I usually eat apple as my dinner along with the yogurt..I eat it without peeling the outer layer because it was believed that it contains fiber..

Gardenia Wheat Bread

This is my best partner in dieting. I eat gardenia as my breakfast with milk and banana, i also pack it as my snack in the office and sometimes  i eat it as my dinner whenever i really got hungry..

Banana (Lakatan)

I really love bananas. Para kaming mga unggoy sa boarding house because we always see to it that we have bananas at our house. I eat banana everyday three times a week. Honestly, I don't know if it's alright to eat it three time a day, basta ang alam ko masarap sia and easy to eat..

And of course...

Water
Water is my best buddy nowadays. I always have a tumbler full of water on my table in our office. I noticed that when i started exercising I drink a lot of water for the whole day everyday. I think I am drinking at least 1.5 liters of water everyday. I feel clean inside my body when drinking a lot of water. It just makes me pee more often than before.. :-)

Spot the difference!!!

Can you spot the differences in the two pictures?

After almost  6 months of dieting (actually 3 months lng tlga 'coz from march to may hnd ako ngdiet nun..hehe) i can now see the results of my efforts. After making this picture, i can't help but keep staring at it.. i can really see the difference. But of course i shouldn't be contented with this, there are still lot more to lose.. Actually i don't want to post it yet but i realized that the more i show it to other people, mas magkakaroon ako ng urge to continue what i am doing..  I just really hope to see more results in the coming months of dieting..

Nueva Ecija to Ifugao (part 1)

Here is the continuation of my post " a very long trip"..

Since we cannot get an air conditioned bus we opt to ride an ordinary bus. I really thought that it would be okay to ride an ordinary bus but no when we enter the bus we cannot pass through the aisle because there are so much luggage including a sack of feeds and basket trays of chicks. Due to this circumstances i decided to sit beside the aisle where in i am also beside the basket trays of chicks.. Waaah!!! the smell is so unpleasant but i have endure it to be able to get comfortable during the trip. When some of the passengers started to leave the bus i found a space where i can sit comfortably. but when i get to the seat. the only man in the seat is lying as if he's in his own bed.. waah... nkakainis.. but then i still continue to sit but the man keep on slouching so i really cannot properly.. i really hate him... hmmm.. hahaha!!! so the trip continues.. when we got to Aritao Nueva Vizcaya, the bus reached the bus stop. When we get out of the bus we were surprised with what we saw. the bus stop that we were expecting is not the bus stop that we are in.. And in our surprise we found out that we were riding a Dagupan Bus Liner instead of Victory Liner.. Waah.. all through out the travel we really thought that we were riding in Victory Liner.. haay.. our bubbles were burst.. Anyways.. Let's continue the trip..

Dagupan Bus Liner Bus stop
At 3 am to reached Shell Santiago our supposed meeting place. But it is too early our meeting time is supposed to be before 6 am.. We were 3 hours early.. what are we gonna do then? i asked.. Fortunately there a 24 hour Jollibee beside the gas station so we decided to stay and eat there for a while. After eating french fries we decided to go to the terminal going to Mayoyao. At 4.30 we reached the terminal, it still dark but the bus going to Mayoyao is already there and they allowing the passengers to go inside even though the trip is at 6:00am. We hardly see inside the bus, the seats are full of things so we ended up sitting at the last part of the bus. But surprisingly, when the sun comes up we noticed that we're the only one that were inside the bus. hahaha!!! the things inside the bus were owned by the bus officials and driver. Below is picture of my friends and the bus that we rode going to mayoyao.
